FORAGER THEATRE COMPANY is back at Red Eye NY on January 24th at 7pm to bring you “INTO THE CURSED CABARET,” a wild, interactive, crowd pleasing fundraiser performance to raise money for Forager’s 2026 season! They will be expanding their offerings of donation-based classes, content development readings, one-night concerts, and fully-produced productions this year, and are looking to their greater community to keep supporting non-profit independent theatre!
A crew of brilliant actors will perform selections from “Wicked,” “Annie,” “Beauty and The Beast,” and “Into the Woods.” BUT this will be no mere cabaret – it will be the most unforgettable show tune extravaganza you’ve ever seen, because YOU, our humble audience, are going to CURSE the show!
Guests will receive a menu of nearly 20 curses, each corresponding to a small-dollar donation amount, and when an order is placed, the actors will be CURSED IN REAL TIME with that particular challenge. They could be anything from singing at double tempo, transposing up a third, adopting a crazy accent, doing a wacky Broadway impersonations, interpretive dancing the lyrics, rocking out Britney riffs, and so much more! The audience spends tokens to curse the actors, and each tier of tickets come with a set number of tokens. You can buy more between sets to curse the performers all night long and support Forager’s mission and works!
