TRIFLES: An Adaptation by Peter Smith

For their first inaugural Fall Fundraiser, The Queer Ensemble presents an afternoon of good old fashioned American murder! Susan Glaspell’s classic one-act “Trifles” has been adapted by Peter Smith (Oh, Mary!) into new territory. What better way to close out your Halloween weekend (hangover) than a murderous matinee reading of an early Feminist “Whodunit?” powered by homicidal American isolationism and small town sisterhood. (Run Time : 60 minutes)

The Queer Ensemble is a collective of artists that have come together to present work that centers and elevates the queer perspective. We specialize in New, Revisited, and Reinterpreted Works across diverse storytelling mediums with courage and authenticity.
